"As soon as I got my first real job, I started renovating a couple of derelict houses in Western Sydney, I joined investor clubs and watched people sweat, flip and stretch their way into fortunes and failures. So I know the world of Heavily Invested really well!"

Dean has written several playscripts, including Dial to the Tone, which won the audience choice at Belvoir Street Theatre’s Open House and an adaptation of Hamlet that was toured by the Queensland Arts Council. He also wrote and produced a short film, Season of Fear, and co-wrote the online game, Alternator, which won the ABC-Screen Australia Serious Games Award in 2009 and went on to be a Finalist for an Earth Hour Award and a United Nations World Environment Day Award.
